These are the terms you agree to when you book Papaya Detailing LLC or use this website. They are written to be read, not to hide anything. If something here is unclear, call and ask before you book.
Who we are and what we do
Papaya Detailing LLC is a mobile automotive detailing business operating in Tampa, Florida and the surrounding area. We come to you. We bring our own water and power, so you do not need to supply either.
Booking and confirmation
Submitting the form on this site is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Your booking is confirmed when we confirm it with you by call or text. Until then, nothing is reserved.
We may decline or reschedule work. The usual reasons are that a vehicle is outside what we can safely handle, the location is outside our service area, or the weather makes the work pointless.
Where we can work
We need a legal, safe place to park next to your vehicle, with enough room to open doors and move around it. Covered or shaded space is better in summer but is not required.
If we arrive and there is no workable space, or the vehicle is not accessible, we will try to sort it out with you on the spot. If we cannot, it counts as a same day cancellation under the section below.
Pricing and quotes
Current prices are on the main page, and the package builder there shows what a given combination costs. Any price we quote before seeing the vehicle is an estimate based on what you told us.
The final price can be higher than the estimate when the vehicle needs more than described. The common cases are heavy soil, pet hair, a larger vehicle than selected, or an extended third row. Those have set add-on prices, listed on the main page.
We will not surprise you. If the work needs an add-on that was not in your quote, we tell you the new price and you approve it before we start. If you would rather not, you can decline and we will do the work you originally booked, or cancel with nothing owed.
Florida sales tax is added on top of the service subtotal where it applies. Quoted service prices do not include tax unless we say otherwise in writing.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is finished, unless we have agreed something different in advance. We accept the payment methods offered at the time of service. Tips are appreciated and never expected.
You get a receipt for every payment. If you need an invoice ahead of time, ask and we will send one.
Cancelling and rescheduling
Let us know as early as you can and there is no charge. We would rather move an appointment than have you sit through a detail you are not ready for.
Weather cancellations, on either side, are always free. Mobile detailing and rain do not mix, and we will usually be the one to suggest moving the day.
Your vehicle
Please take your valuables and personal items out of the vehicle before we arrive. We are not responsible for cash, electronics, documents or personal property left inside, and clearing out a full interior slows the work down.
Tell us in advance about anything we should know: aftermarket paint or wrap, a repainted panel, existing damage, loose or broken trim, sensitive electronics, or a modification that needs care. We work around what we know about.
What detailing can and cannot do
Detailing improves the condition of a vehicle. It does not repair it. Being straight about the limits up front:
- Existing scratches, chips, dents, oxidation, cracked trim and worn upholstery may be less visible after the work, but they are still there
- Some stains, odors and burn marks are permanent, and we cannot always tell which until we try
- Failing clear coat, peeling wrap, brittle plastic and loose trim can come apart during normal careful cleaning, because they were already at the end of their life
- Sealant protection is a finish, not a shield, and it wears down over months of weather and washing
We will point out anything of this kind that we notice before starting, and photograph it so both of us have a record.
If something goes wrong
If we damage your vehicle through our own negligence, we will make it right. Tell us within 48 hours of the appointment, while there is still a clear picture of what happened, and we will look at it with you.
Outside of that, our responsibility for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost time, lost wages, rental costs or missed appointments.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Florida law that cannot be waived.
Photographs of your vehicle
We photograph vehicles to record condition and to show finished work, and we may publish those photographs on our website and social media with license plates removed or blurred. If you would rather we did not, say so at any point, before or after the job, and we will not. See the Privacy Policy for more.
Using this website

We try to keep prices and details on this site current, but we do not guarantee that everything is free of errors at every moment. A price we confirm with you directly is the one that governs your job.
Text messages
When you give us your phone number, you are agreeing that we can call or text you about your inquiry and your appointment. These are business messages about work you asked us about, not a marketing list. Reply STOP at any time and we will stop texting you.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The version in effect for your job is the one published when we confirmed your booking. The date at the top tells you when this was last changed.
Governing law
